The installation of the Sigma Plus information system at the Municipality of Chania is currently underway, aiming to modernize and digitize the management of the Municipality’s school units.
Sigma Plus is a comprehensive web-based platform that supports the management of the financial processes of school units, covering the entire workflow of expense requests, documents, suppliers, and payments.
Through the system, school units can submit their requests electronically, while the Municipality’s authorized departments can review, approve, or reject them, monitor available budgets, manage financial transactions, and maintain a complete history of all actions.
The new installation provides a modern, secure, and user-friendly working environment, contributing to the reduction of bureaucracy, enhancing transparency, and improving daily collaboration between school units and Municipality services.
